Sea Stacks | Hidden Beach
Hidden Beach is a scenic stretches of coast nestled off the 101 on the border of California and Oregon. Technically part of Redwood National and State Parks, this beach is hidden from the road by a tree-covered hillside and is easy to miss.
The mile long trail leads to bluffs overlooking the sea stacks off the coast and eventually the beach featuring spectacular rock formations and an alcove that the occasional beach goer will use for their sunset fire pit.
I arrived late in the evening, and after photographing alone with rock formations to keep me company, I turned back and hiked through a pitch black trail and captured this on the way. Luckily I had my headlamp.
